All good things in the world come from many different avenues. Finding these gems however are usually what is difficult. I wanted to use this page as a way to shed light on the things I find interesting, just plain dope, and things I believe deserve more shine. Enjoy.

Pet Shop Boys | Vocal | Electric | 7.15.13
So this fortunate one will happen to be in the same city as Neil and Chris this week.
What? Sonar Festival
When? Sabado, 16.06.13
Where? Barcelona, Esp
Why? Because they still rock in their 50s.
Did i mention this just happens to be the reunion of South Central’s own Jurassic 5? Yes, Nu-Mark, Cut Chemist, 2na and all. This track “Vocal” will be off the forthcoming release “Electric” the follow-up to the much maligned “Elysium”. Enjoy and see you this week Barca.
Always thought it’d be cool to be thanked in the liner notes of one my favourite bands. It happened on this remarkable album which will hit iTunes and stores June 18. @stripmall #stripmallarchitecture #suburbanreverb
School of Seven Bells | A Band is Born | 3 of 3
This is the SVIIB’s conclusion of Filter Magazine’s “A Band is Born” series. Ben shares with us the creative process that helped birthed the ethereal second track off the band’s second album “Disconnect from Desire”.
Ben is still in search for a bone marrow donor that could possibly heal him. Click here to see if you could be that person Be The Match.
And as long as the band isn’t playing, the medical bills also become harder to fathom for him and his family. Alley and the Curtis family could use your support by showing your generosity: Support Benjamin Curtis.
David Beckham | England v Greece | 2001 | World Cup Qualifier
One summer night in Saint Etienne,1998, you became the villain of the nation that until this night, chanted your name in adoration. I didn’t completely blame you, Diego Simeone was a B-list actor that night and the referee did what he had to do because you couldn’t keep your head. Routine was the fact that England was later to be eliminated in penalties. Heartbreak.
Next summer you were able to win yourself back into Manchester hearts in the most thrilling and miraculous comeback some people including myself will have ever witnessed as you delivered the corner that Teddy Sheringham flicked onto Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s winning boot which delivered a most famous treble of 1999.
Two years later, The Three Lions were on the brink of having to scrap their way into the 2002 World Cup and down 1-2 to the Greeks. A familiar mate by the name of Teddy Sheringham was fouled about 14 yards outside the center of the box. As he got up, he wanted a crack at the dead ball, much to your dismay. You stepped up in the dying embers of the game and unleashed a destined ball, rooting the keeper on its way to the back of the net and sent your home ground of Old Trafford into ecstasy. Remarkable.
A year later, after the goal that sent England to a summer in the Pacific in 2002 and for what would become the most anticipated rematch of the tournament, you once again faced Argentina and had a chance to alleviate yourself of the endless torment caused by a certain, faithful night in France. Michael Owen was sent down in the box and once again, up you stepped to bear the weight of the nation on your shoulders. You went for power and powerful it was as England went on to beat Argentina 1 nil from the touch of your penalty kick.
Remarkable, Iconic, Clutch, Magnificent, Legendary.
Thanks for the memories Becks.

Austin City Limits | 2013
This year’s double weekend bodes a stout lineup. Check it out for yourself.
Johnny Marr | How Soon Is Now?
Because he’s The Smiths too okay? Gotta love how everybody from that Joy Division / Smiths regime can hold their own behind the microphone. Cheers.

Lana Del Rey | Young and Beautiful | The Great Gatsby
Amidst all the glitz, glamour, and hype surrounding Baz Lurhman’s updated interpretation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic 1925 novel, sits an ambitious soundtrack ready to support Gatsby’s return to the big screen. Lana Del Rey belts out heart and soul into the Daisy Buchanan anthem “Young and Beautiful”. Jay Z, Q-Tip, Florence + the Machine, The XX, and Sia also add to the powerhouse lineup that will journey us through the roaring twenties May 10. Cheers.
